KeyCompostables

Yes — Key Compostables offers free shipping on US orders over $100, which a single case of these World Centric fiber lids reaches exactly at $100. Below that threshold, rates are calculated at checkout, and because compostable fibre is bulky and ships by the case, freight on a small order can be significant relative to the goods. The store also operates a price-matching guarantee and wholesale accounts with bulk discounts, so restaurants and institutions ordering repeatedly should set up an account rather than buying at list. Check the case count before ordering: $100 here buys 1,000 lids, not a consumer pack.

Key Compostables does not publish a fixed consumer return window, which is common for case-quantity foodservice supply where opened cartons cannot be resold — so confirm the terms in writing before ordering, particularly who pays return freight and whether a restocking fee applies. The practical protection is to get the order right first time: verify the SKU rather than the product title, since this listing is a lid (BOL-FB-8-LF) and the matching bowls (BO-PA-8, BO-SU-8, BO-SC-U6-LFP) are separate items, and the URL's "6 oz" wording does not match the 8 oz specification. Call 301-202-4450 or (240) 608-0283 to confirm compatibility, and inspect the pallet or carton on delivery before signing.

Every Key Compostables code listed on smartstorereview is tested against the live checkout before publication and rechecked on a regular schedule, with expired codes removed. Two points specific to this supplier: it already runs a price-matching guarantee and tiered wholesale pricing, so a code often cannot be stacked on an account price or a matched quote — compare the final cost per unit rather than the headline percentage. Codes also commonly exclude bulk pallet orders and third-party brand lines. Confirm the discount appears in your order total before paying, and if you buy regularly, a wholesale account will usually beat any one-off coupon.

Checkout runs on a standard hosted e-commerce platform, so major credit and debit cards including Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover are accepted, typically alongside digital wallets such as PayPal, Apple Pay, Shop Pay and Google Pay, while wholesale accounts may be invoiced on terms. Paying by credit card is sensible on a first order: the independent review base is thin at 20 Trustpilot reviews, and a card preserves a dispute route if the wrong SKU arrives — a real risk here, since lids and bowls are listed separately. Keep the invoice and the BPI certification details for your own compliance records.
