Editor's Verdict

👍 Pros

  • ✓Third-party testing attributed to Eurofins, a genuinely reputable laboratory, covering four heavy metals plus five or more microbiological markers and label accuracy
  • ✓Full contact transparency with a named legal entity, a Nevada street address, a telephone number and an email address
  • ✓Carries a proper choking warning advising against use in children under two and to chew thoroughly
  • ✓States plainly that the milk powder is not a meal replacement and should accompany a varied diet of solid foods
  • ✓Acknowledges that results vary and that age, genetics and lifestyle determine growth, and stops short of claiming to increase height
  • ✓Several ingredient forms are well selected, including vitamin K2 as MK-7, magnesium citrate, iron glycinate and zinc citrate
  • ✓Lactobacillus rhamnosus is among the better-evidenced probiotic strains for children
  • ✓Made in a cGMP-certified US facility, with GMO-free, gluten-free and major-allergen-free claims
  • ✓Subscription can be skipped, modified or cancelled at any time, with a 30 Days Risk-Free badge
  • ✓306 reviews averaging 4.6 with a believable spread including eight two-star and six one-star entries

👎 Cons

  • ✕The Sleep Drops contain 500 mcg of melatonin intended for nightly use in children aged two and up, which is a significant concern: melatonin is prescription-only in the UK, EU and much of Australia, paediatric bodies advise against routine use without medical supervision, and US poison centres recorded a more than fivefold rise in paediatric melatonin ingestions over the decade to 2021
  • ✕The Sleep Drops provide 5 mg of vitamin B6, stated as 1,000% of the daily value for ages one to three, while the milk powder adds a further 0.9 mg at 180%, and no cumulative total across the kit is given
  • ✕The zinc content in the Sleep Drops is printed as "1.5 g", which would be a toxic quantity for a toddler and is evidently a unit error on a children's supplement panel
  • ✕The dosing instructions contradict each other, with the FAQ saying one drop daily and the directions saying one full millilitre dropper, a difference of roughly twenty to thirty fold on a melatonin product for small children
  • ✕Silicon is supplied from horsetail extract, which contains thiaminase that degrades thiamine and has been linked to thiamine deficiency with prolonged use, and is generally not recommended for young children
  • ✕The gummy contains 3 g of added sugar per serving, 12% of the daily value for a two to three year old, in a chewy strawberry-flavoured form taken daily, which runs against paediatric dental and dietary advice
  • ✕Folate at 335 mcg DFE is 223% of the daily value and sits at or above the upper intake level for ages one to three, where excess folic acid can mask vitamin B12 deficiency
  • ✕The kit contents contradict themselves, with the FAQ listing a Toddler Protein Shake where the description lists Advanced Formula+
  • ✕Age ranges differ between the product sections and the FAQ for all three items
  • ✕The "How it works" section lists L-theanine in the Sleep Drops, which does not appear in the Supplement Facts
  • ✕The Halal and Kosher statements contradict each other, claiming the standards are met while also stating no certification exists
  • ✕A Clinical Trials section is linked but no specific study is cited anywhere
  • ✕At roughly ninety US dollars a month the kit is expensive for a toddler supplement
  • ✕The Sleep Drops were out of stock with orders quoted to ship in mid-July, indicating stale page content
  • ✕Cancelling a subscription resets accumulated discount progress
  • ✕The brand name, the Bone Growth Gummy naming and a Growth Projection tool together address parental anxiety about a child's stature, where height is largely genetically determined and no supplement increases adult height in a well-nourished child
  • ✕The probiotic dose of 138 million CFU is well below the one to ten billion CFU typically used in paediatric research
  • ✕No drug interactions or contraindications are listed at all
Our verdict: Some of what TruHeight does is better than its competitors. Naming Eurofins as the testing laboratory and publishing a panel covering lead, mercury, arsenic and cadmium alongside microbiological markers and label verification is exactly right for a children's product, the contact details are complete, the choking warning is properly worded, the milk powder is honestly described as not a meal replacement, and the page does acknowledge that genetics drive growth rather than promising extra inches. Ingredient forms like MK-7, magnesium citrate and iron glycinate suggest real formulation competence. That makes the problems harder to excuse rather than easier. The Sleep Drops are the central issue: 500 mcg of melatonin given nightly to a two-year-old is not a routine supplement decision. Melatonin requires a prescription in the UK, the EU and much of Australia, paediatric sleep bodies advise against habitual use in young children without medical oversight, and American poison centres recorded a more than fivefold increase in paediatric melatonin ingestions in the decade to 2021. Worse, the page cannot agree on the dose, saying one drop in the FAQ and one full millilitre in the directions, which on a melatonin product for toddlers is a twenty to thirty fold discrepancy. The same product lists vitamin B6 at a thousand per cent of a toddler's daily value, with more again in the milk powder and no combined total anywhere, and prints zinc as 1.5 g, a quantity that would be acutely toxic. Horsetail extract has no place in a young child's daily supplement given its thiaminase content. Add 3 g of daily added sugar in a chewy sweet, folate at the upper limit for the age band, and four separate internal contradictions, and the quality control does not match the testing claims. Most importantly, if you are worried about your child's height, that is a paediatric consultation, not a purchase: short stature can reflect growth hormone deficiency, hypothyroidism, coeliac disease or other treatable conditions, and the months spent on supplements are months not spent getting an answer. Rating: 2.2/5.
